Monthly members meeting are now being held at our Springfield Hall, at 29 Oakland St., and our Worcester Hall, at 29 Endicott St.

All Active stewards that submit full/correct reports will receive ONE MUP credit for the year. Any questions pleases contact your local council representative.

Our Fort Drum Soldiers are deploying overseas for up to 9 months, and we’re coming together to remind them they are supported and appreciated.

This is a low-cost, grassroots effort that makes a big impact. Sponsors send letters, birthday and holiday cards, and care packages using flat-rate boxes to Soldiers’ Army Post Office (APO) addresses.

How you can help:
 Donate $60 total with receipts
 Items must be able to ship or a Visa gift card (to help cover postage)
 Include letters or notes addressed to the entire platoon — children and classrooms are encouraged!

As we get to know our platoons, we’ll continue adding items based on what the Soldiers actually need. Once packages are received, Soldiers typically respond by email.

We will be sending in the care packages the 1st of every month, from March-December.

East Sidney Dam Recreation Park – 2026 Season Prep MUP

Local 277 is assisting the East Sidney Dam Recreation Park in preparing for the 2026 season in April. Join us for a productive day where we’ll be:

Building picnic tables

Cleaning the park

Setting buoys for the swimming area

Local 277 Solidarity Rally 2026

Local 277 will be hosting our Solidarity Rally on April 18th, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Training Center, located at 6920 Princeton Court, Syracuse, NY 13212.

The event will feature guest speakers in a Q&A panel session

Food will be provided, and we kindly ask that you bring cash for raffle tickets. The raffle will serve as a fundraiser for the Whitey Hoenow Cancer Fund, which supports Local 277 carpenter members.

Additionally, ONE MUP credit will be awarded for attending the event.

On April 22nd, Carpenter local 277 will be assisting with setup for the SkillsUSA event in Syracuse. This setup work is essential to preparing the competition areas and ensuring the event runs smoothly.

Join us on April 24th 2026 in Syracuse to help support the SkillsUSA event! SkillsUSA is a hands-on competition where students demonstrate real-world trade skills, leadership, and professionalism.

On December 19, 2026 at 2:00 pm, Wreaths Across America ceremony will be held at Savage-DeMarco Funeral Service 338 Conklin Ave Binghamton, NY 13903 to Remember and Honor our veterans through the laying of Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heroes.
