There will be an informational session 5 p.m. Aug. 10 at the Carpenters Training Facility in Rock Tavern (52 Stone Castle Rd.) for NASRCC members interested in the new AOS degree program to be offered at SUNY Sullivan.
New carpentry degree program launched by SUNY Sullivan and the North Atlantic States Regional Council of Carpenters (NASRCC) creates high-paying job opportunities for area students and brings strong boost to the regional economy and workforce. The two-year Associate of Occupational Studies (AOS) in Construction Technology degree program, which begins this fall, is specifically designed to help meet the growing state-wide need for a skilled labor force in construction.
