Our Fort Drum Soldiers are deploying overseas for up to 9 months, and we’re coming together to remind them they are supported and appreciated. This is a low-cost, grassroots effort that makes a big impact. Sponsors send letters, birthday and holiday cards, and care packages using flat-rate boxes to Soldiers’ Army Post Office (APO) addresses. How you can help: As we get to know our platoons, we’ll continue adding items based on what the Soldiers actually need. Once packages are received, Soldiers typically respond by email.
